Day 3: Disneyland

Day 3 was DISNEYLAND! We started the day with a continental breakfast provided by the hotel and with full bellies we were ready to go. A shuttle service picked up directly outside of our hotel and took us straight to the Disneyland entrance, so we didn't have to park at the park.  It was an absolutely perfect day in Southern California. About 10am, the sun broke through the clouds, and by noon there wasn't a cloud in the sky. We stayed until about 6:30, when we were just exhausted and a group of high school students were starting to show up for grad night. We spent the night in relaxing and preparing for our drive on day 4. There's not easy way to do it, so here are our pics from Disneyland! The last few pics are ones of us from different rides. For Jason's first visit, I'd say it was a success!

The most timeless ride ever: It's a Small World!

Jason at the monorail station with the Matterhorn in the background. It was closed. The Matterhorn has never been open when I have been to Disneyland.

This awesome guy at the Blue Bayou restaurant gave Jason this really neat pin that says "1st Visit!" Jason was totally excited to wear it, and the whole rest of the day, people kept saying, "We hope you're enjoying your first visit!"

The famous Monte Cristo sandwich!

We bought these lanyards to hold our fast passes and park tickets. Fast passes are the best invention EVER!

Here's a pic of a Fast Pass. You basically check in to the ride, and this ticket electronically holds your place in line. Then, you come back and go skip the whole line to the front of the line. With these in hand, I don't think we waited more than ten minutes to get on a ride ever.

Off to San Luis Obispo and the Apple farm we go...
